For more than a decade Kunnskapsparken Bodø has been collecting data and analysing industry structures, development and growth in Northern Norway. Our datasets and services have proved valuable both for companies considering doing business in the region as well as for general information. Kunnskapsparken Bodø provides reports and publications regularly on a various set of topics and sectors. We also have solid competence within project management for industrial clusters, including Mining and Mineral Cluster Norway, Norwegian Centres of Expertise (“NCE Aquaculture”) and Information and Communication-forum.

Innovation Norway is the Norwegian Government's most important instrument for innovation and development of Norwegian enterprises and industry. We support companies in developing their competitive advantage and to enhance innovation. Norwegian enterprises have access to a broad business support system as well as financial means. Innovation Norway provides competence, advisory services, promotional services and network services. The marketing of Norway as a tourist destination is also considered one of the organizations important tasks. By combining local industry knowledge and international networks with the business ideas and the motivation of entrepreneurs, the foundation for new successful businesses is created. Innovation Norway is the Norwegian government's official trade representative abroad. We aim to assist Norwegian businesses grow and find new markets. Local presence is therefore of crucial concern to us.

Løvold AS offers complete systems for mooring fish farms and other floating installations in the sea – from planning/design to finished product. We deliver what you need in marine and aquaculture equipment, as well as everything within wire and lifting equipment. Løvold’s production facilities and workshop are one of Norway’s largest, in regard of aquaculture installations, where quantities of ropes, anchors and chains are processed according to orders. We are certified to carry out inspection and approval of equipment such as moorings, lifting gear and fall protection. Our market area is Norway and Svalbard, and Løvold as has 28 employees. Løvold as is a part of a Løvold Solution.

Gigante Salmon is a land-based salmon farming company with its first production facility under construction at Lille Indre Rosøy in Rødøy municipality. Our aquaculture concept is based on a flow-through system that combines the advantages of both conventional and land-based aquaculture. We eliminate the challenges associated with conventional sea-based farming, such as lice and escapes, while at the same time improving fish welfare and reducing emissions and environmental impact.
