Attending EVC's yearly final is always an effective way to catch up on trends in the startup and investor communities. In 2018, Hamamatsu will establish corporate venture capital for investment to startups in early stage. It was a great opportunity attending EVC Final in terms of not only presentations by startups but also practical questions from experts. .We should be able to apply what we learned at EVC final to our own evaluation processes.

Tech Tour is a leading platform bringing new startups from different countries within Europe to meet investors. We especially like the concept as it has different angles, how it approaches the companies. In our case, we attended for example Nordic and Cleantech events. Thus we were able to meet investors having their focus on these segments. The final event was naturally best of all as it gathered most investors to meet with.
