The Atlantic Venture Forum provided a unique setting of pan-European networking for top entrepreneurs, Venture Capital & Business Angel investors, and regional development experts. This was a single opportunity to connect with the different agents involved in the innovation system, from entrepreneurs and investors, to key players in financing innovation and promoting the development of innovative, technology-based and fast growing companies.

SME´s:
As an SME you had the great opportunity to present your company’s project to an international audience of investors and industry experts, and got their feedback on how your project stand out and how you should improve it. You were able to obtain visibility and promote your company to international key players.
Additionally, you heared directly from investors and experts what they are currently looking for in terms of investment, and the difficulties now faced by both investors and entrepreneurs in these challenging times.

Venture Capital and Business Angel Investors:
As an investor, you had the opportunity to watch and review a selection of companies presenting their projects and financing needs, and meet with them one2one. Furthermore, you had an opportunity to increase awareness around your own business to other players in the market and, of course, met other investors and industry players, exchange investment best practices and challenges at regional and cross-border levels.

Innovation and Regional Development Experts:
If you were an advisor or working in regional development organisations, attending this event allowed you to exchange views and share your experience and good practices on the role of Venture Capital and Business Angel investment on innovation and regional development.

Participants:
The networking possibilities of the event were enormous, as we counted on the attendance of the main respresentatives of the political and development agencias of the partnering regions.
