Eric is the Managing Partner of Cathay Health in charge of European investments.

Prior to joining Cathay Health, Eric held the role of Venture Partner at Seventure Partners, a venture capital firm based in Paris from 2014 to 2021. During this period, he sat on the board of directors of thirteen biotechnology companies as a representative of Seventure and of Sensorion SA as an independent director.

Between 2011 and 2014, Eric was CEO of Delenex Therapeutics, a Zurich-based biotechnology company specialising in the discovery and development of antibodies for topical skin. From 2005 to 2011, he led Roche's global Research and External Technologies activities. In this capacity, he had a dual mandate for Business Development and Licensing which included partner search, contract negotiation, alliance management and resulted in the formation of over 200 partnerships, and for strategic advisory, creating R&D scenarios with a 20-year horizon and actionable recommendations.

Eric's academic background is in science, with notable contributions in protein structure determination using X-ray crystallography.
