Tech Tour is looking for an Investment Programme Project Leader

 

Every year, Tech Tour supports some 1,000 selected tech companies to engage with 2,000 investors and partners in over 250 invitation-only sessions, online and live events. All of Europe and all tech sectors are covered, including digital and deep tech, health, as well as climate and sustainability. Our entrepreneur alumni reported over EUR 14 Billion of transactions in the past 7 years. 

 

Tech Tour runs a premium membership model with the selected entrepreneurs, active investors and corporations and regional and technology clusters. In 2020 we successfully added online collaborative programmes to our live events. Tech Tour has offices in Brussels and Sofia and a team of 30 staff members. Mission description of the Investment Programme Project Leader

The Project Leader would (with the help of investment experts in the 2 specialised sectors) test, implement, evaluate and document a new programme to assist tech investors to help selected companies raise ambitious series A or B investments in:

 

  • Artificial intelligence (AI) for healthcare
  • Hydrogen generation, storage and delivery solutions
  • [possibly in rare earth materials and materials for energy storage]

 

The project could be part-time (min 12-20 hours/week) or full time on a 4 months project basis (Sept to Oct). The role is funded by the EC’s European Innovation Council, but Tech Tour aims to roll out the Programme as a paid service to Clusters and the selected Entrepreneurs.

 

Project requirements

  • Experience in the tech investment process, preferably as a VC investment manager or analyst
  • Passion and energy to get things done and develop excellent methodologies
  • High level of independence, professionalism and collaboration skills
  • Team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communications in English (and other languages appreciated)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience and a commitment for 6 months
  • Partial remote working. It is an advantage if you could be based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
